It’s almost time for Puebloans to reap the benefits of local farmers’ efforts. A seasonal outpouring of vegetables and fruits is heading to our local farms and farmers markets.

Here’s where and when you can grab fresh Pueblo produce, including some year-round options at local farms. Hours and available produce may vary, so check with each market or farm for the most up-to-date information.

Southern Colorado Farmers Market and Craft Fair
Get ready for three markets in one this season. In addition to its traditional Friday morning market at Mineral Palace Park, two evening markets are being added – one at Mineral Palace and another at Lake Minnequa.
Dates: July 8-Sept. 30 (may extend into October)
Time: 4-7 p.m. Tuesdays, Lake Minnequa Veterans Memorial Park, 3005 Lakeshore Drive (off Pueblo Boulevard); 7 a.m.-noon and 4-7 p.m. Fridays, Mineral Palace Park, 1500 N. Santa Fe Ave.

Pueblo Riverwalk Farmers Market
The Riverwalk market returns with a weekly offering. Details will be available on the Riverwalk website.

Note: The Pueblo West Community Marketplace, run by the Farmers’ Marketeers through the Master Gardener program at the Colorado State University Extension Office, will not operate in 2022. According to a statement on the marketplace’s Facebook page, organizers are making improvements and plan to return in 2023.
